SOL 20
The SOL 20 is a unique solar experience on water. It is a small mono hull solar boat made of fibre glass suitable for 8 persons. A solar module arching over the boat creates comfortable shade and generates power of 550 Wp for charging up the batteries. Its easy handling and diversity make it an ideal boat for all who enjoy swimming, sun-bathing or savouring nature in peace and silence. An optional bathing-ladder installed at the stern allows easy access to the water. This system is very much suitable for renting out alongside conventional electric- or pedal-boats. The boat is also available as a pure electric boat without solar cells. The SOL 20 is easy to handle, is unsinkable and can be manoeuvred well over a steering wheel.
The boat is motorised by using electric motors with a power range from
550 W up to 9000 W. The overall battery capacity allows for driving time of about 8-10 hours at 6 km/h. The speed regulation for forward- and backward driving is achieved using a infinitely variable motor control. A device for recharging the batteries via the public grid is ready installed. The boat can be transported by using a trailer which can be acquired upon request with or without a permission for use on streets.
The pictures shown here are the basis for the building of the boat. Technical changes and slight deviations from these pictures are reserved.

Solarshuttle²
The Solar Shuttle² would be the biggest ship in the world driven by solar energy. It stands out as a symbol for a vision - man and his technology in harmony with nature. At the same time, it is an ambassador for the intense ecological efforts of the city.
Many years of experience and the entrepreneurial spirit of Kopf Solardesign and Kopf AG, combined with the artistic skills of world class designers resulted in a perfect unison of form and function.
The emphasis of the design is on light, in every meaning of the word. The light and transparent construction allows for unique perspectives, giving the passenger unforgettable impressions.
Driven by the energy of the sun, the Solar Shuttle² spares the emission of about 11,500 kg CO2 per year as opposed to a conventional boat of equal size. In addition, about 1,300 litres of Diesel fuel are saved.
As these numbers clearly illustrate, saving money and protecting the environment go together very well.
The powerful solar generator does a lot more than simply supplying energy. It is the main element of the boat´s unmistakable contour.
Shaped like a bridge over the floaters of the catamaran, it protects the passengers from direct exposure to sunlight and rain.
On the half-open upper deck, it is the source of an entertaining play of shadow and light.
